Working group on ship repair, maintenance service, and shipboard ancillary equipment was established

By decision of the Expert Advisory Body (EAB) of the Maritime Board affiliated to the Government of the Russian Federation, a working group of the Expert Advisory Body on ship repair, maintenance service, and shipboard ancillary equipment has been established. (Record No.2(50) dated 16.10.2020).

The purpose of the working group is to prepare proposals for the implementation of the provisions of the Strategy for the development of the shipbuilding industry for the period up to 2035, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated October 28, 2019 No. 2553-p, and the provisions of the Marine Doctrine of the Russian Federation in terms of creating conditions for the development of ship repair, modernization of existing industries and technologies in the Baltic and Azov-Black Sea region, as well as improving the system of shipboard ancillary equipment.

R.V. Parshin, a member of the EAB of the Marine Board, General Director of ROSFLOTSERVICE LLC, is charged to lead the working group. We invite all interested persons and maritime industry enterprises of the Russian Federation to take an active part in the development and implementation of the concept of ship repair and maintenance service of commercial fleet and Navy ships of the Ministry of Defense of Russia at all stages of their life cycle.
