Training course on life-saving equipment produced by the research and production company "SZMA" was held in Novorossiysk

Representatives of "SZMA" research and production company (hereinafter “SZMA" RPC) (http://npfszma.ru), which is a domestic manufacturer of individual means of rescue for the personnel of surface ships of the Navy of the Russian Defense Ministry and the Border service of the FSB of Russia, held an educational training course in Novorossiysk for the staff of ROSFLOTSERVICE LLC regarding the inspection of the life-saving equipment manufactured by "SZMA" RPC.

At the seminar due attention was paid to the principle of operation, design and technological process of manufacturing of the production and components, the need for service maintenance of products and confirmation of the possibility of their further use and application as rescue equipment on warships and civilian vessels.

We reviewed the possibilities and methods of repairing products at the service base in Novorossiysk, got acquainted with the main defects and signs that determine the limiting state of products, tested and checked the products in accordance with the approved technological instructions.

At the seminar special attention was paid to the automatic gas filling systems for inflatable life jackets, search lights (flashing lights) and the latest development for the Border service of the FSB of Russia - a suit made of water-repellent fabric "GKRS-2015".

According to the results of the examinations, the staff of ROSFLOTSERVICE received the right to conduct inspection of products manufactured by “SZMA"  research and production company (Saint Petersburg).
