A major repair of the magnetic compass was carried out, a certificate and a deviation table were issued

We repaired the magnetic compass. The compass bowl and card were cleaned from old paint. While cleaning, it was found that the lower diaphragm had traces of oxidation. The diaphragm was replaced. Compass bowl and card were painted. A set of gaskets with a pivot was replaced. New compass fluid was filled in and air bubbles were eliminated. Compass was set to its standard position and deviation was eliminated.
