A visiting meeting of the State Duma Commission and the Expert Council for the Development of the Shipbuilding Industry

In Murmansk, on board the atomic icebreaker "Lenin" , visiting meeting of the State Duma Commission on the Legal Support of the Development of Organizations of the Military-Industrial Complex of the Russian Federation was held with the support of the Expert Council for the Development of the Shipbuilding Industry and Marine Equipment and the Committee on Energy, Oil and Gas Engineering and New Production Technologies of the Engineering Union of Russia. Its theme was the solution of the tasks set by the President of the Russian Federation following a meeting on the diversification of the military-industrial complex on November 21, 2018.

Within the framework of the meeting, the General Director of ROSFLOTSERVICE LLC Parshin Roman made a presentation on the urgent topic of the development of the shipbuilding complex and support for domestic manufacturers of marine equipment.

The operative part of the decision of the State Duma Commission reflects the proposed by Parshin RV.  measures aimed to the development and support of domestic manufacturers of marine components, diversification and localization of production, which are directed to the relevant Ministries to work in this direction.
