Training for performing maintenance, repair and deviation of ship magnetic compasses

Service engineers of ROSFLOTSERVICE RN Department were trained at the manufacturing plant of JSC “Katav-Ivanovsk Instrument-Making Plant” for maintenance, repair and deviation of magnetic compasses and logs produced by JSC “KIIMP”.

The training was conducted by teachers of the Ufa branch of the FBI of Higher Professional Education “Moscow State Academy of Water Transport”.

The training took place in two stages: theory and practical exercises, in which the students got a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the magnetic compasses and logs in detail, to receive complete and comprehensive information, advice from the manufacturer of the products.

Upon completion of training, a certificate was obtained, which gives the right to carry out maintenance, repair and deviation of magnetic compasses and logs.
