Roman Parshin takes part in Scientific and Expert Council of the Maritime Collegium of the Government of the Russian Federation

General Director of ROSFLOTSERVICE took part in the meeting of Scientific and Expert Council of the Maritime Collegium of the Government of the Russian Federation, which took place on November 30 under the chairmanship of Doctor of Technical Sciences L.M. Klyachko at the site of RTU MIREA (Moscow).

During the meeting, the issues that are planned to be included in the agenda of the next meeting of the Maritime Collegium were considered.

According to the agenda of the meeting, A.L. Balyberdin, Director of the Institute for Integrated Studies of National Maritime Policy, Vice Admiral of the Reserve, Candidate of Economic Sciences, made a proposal to popularize the activities and improve information support for the activities of the Maritime Collegium and the Scientific and Expert Council. 

General Director of the Central Research Institute of the Navy of the Ministry of Transport S. I. Buyanov and Head of section of the Scientific and Expert Council  V. N. Polovinkin reported about the  results of activities of the Maritime Collegium and its contribution to the development of the Maritime potential of Russia and the strengthening of national security within the framework of implementation of the Maritime doctrine of the Russian Federation and the Strategy of development of the Maritime activities of the Russian Federation until 2030.

Breathtaking video with the main results of the round-the-world Oceanographic expedition of Navy ships dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the discovery of Antarctica by sailors of the Russian fleet was prepared by the Head of the Section of the Scientific and Expert Council for naval activities, Senior Advisor of the Operational Department of the Main headquarters of the Navy, Captain first rank - A. M. Popov.

Also during the meeting, the issues of developing a concept for the development of diving in Russia for the period up to 2035 were considered, and prospects for the development of yacht tourism in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol were discussed.

The Head of the section on public-private partnership, Candidate of Technical Sciences - A.M. Konovalov made a report on completion of the study and reported on the results of formation of the concept of the educational program "State Management of Maritime Activities of the Russian Federation", conducted by "MIREA - Russian Technological University" in accordance with the instructions of the Maritime Collegium.
